Now, drone swarms are able to fly through dense forest.

The swarm of ten bright blue drones autonomously navigates through the bamboo forest. They swerve around bushes, branches and uneven terrain.

Scientists at Zhejiang university conducted the experiment that resembles scenes from science-fiction films. The authors cite \”Star Wars\”, \”Prometheus\”, and \”Blade Runner 2049\”, in their opening paper, published in Science Robotics on Wednesday.

The team led by Xin Zhao wrote: \”Here we are taking a step (towards) such a futur\”.
