Video: CyberOne, a humanoid robotic robot, plays a drum kit without missing a beat

The ability to stay in metronome rhythms is one of the most important qualities for drummers. Xiaomi should know this, because its humanoid robot is on the way to becoming a star.

Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Xiaomi released a new video in August showing CyberOne playing the drums. It’s slow for now but can keep up with the beat.

It can accurately coordinate a wide range of complex movements such as slapping together the drumsticks, tapping on the cymbals or using the pedal to create a variety sounds.
