Microsoft Project Brainwave: Real-time AI preview announced
Manual inspectors have only seconds to determine if a product is defective or not.

Microsoft’s Project Brainwave may be able to help. Project Brainwave is an architecture of hardware designed to accelerate AI calculations in real time. The Project Brainwave is deployed on an Intel FPGA chip to perform real-time AI computations at a competitive price and with the lowest latency in the industry. The data is based on both internal measurements and publicly available information from other organizations.

Microsoft announced a preview at its Build developer conference in Seattle, this week. The company said that Azure Machine Learning will be integrated into Project Brainwave, making it the most efficient cloud platform for AI.
