TechM, Mahindra University’s new lab, will focus on quantum computing and metaverse research

Tech Mahindra, a leading IT company in India, and Mahindra University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to establish a new \”Makers Lab\” for research and development. The lab will focus on areas like quantum computing, explainable AI that presents data to humans in a way that they can understand, and Metaverse, which is a virtual world in which people can connect using their digital avatars.

Tech Mahindra has already 10 Makers Labs around the world. The new facility at Mahindra University is the 11th globally and the second in Hyderabad.

Tech Mahindra’s MD & CEO CP Gurnani said: \”With the launch Makers Lab we will give many talented and skilled people the opportunity to advance for a greater purpose.\”
