Global AI Ethics Agreement Commits Universities Human-Centered AI

Eight universities from around the world have signed a new agreement to develop human-centered AI. University of Florida is the newest university to sign the agreement that could have a global impact.

The Global University Summit took place on October 27, at Notre Dame University. Joseph Glover (UF provost, senior vice president of Academic Affairs, and UF Provost) signed The Rome Call for AI Ethics for the University of Florida. He was also a panelist at the two-day conference, which included 36 universities from all over the world.
