GITAI has developed the GITAI In1 (Inchworm One), a robotic arm with inchworm-type \”grapple-end-effectors\”. Both ends of the arm are equipped with this feature. This unique feature increases both \”Capability\”, allowing it to connect with various tools (end effects) in order to perform various tasks for different applications, and mobility, enabling it to move anywhere. It can also connect/disconnect between different vehicles such as rovers and landers. Satellites are another option. The GITAI IN1 has completed several tests in a simulated moon environment at JAXA Sagamihara Campus, which correspond to Level 3 of NASA’s Technology Readiness Levels.
