Researchers have developed a method to observe cells to study the morphological change — or changes in structure and form — of cells. It is important because cells are the building blocks of all living organisms and the researchers must be able observe factors that could affect parameters such as cell size, shape and density.
Scientists used to examine cell samples directly under microscopes in order to detect any changes. Scientists would examine the cell structure for any morphological changes.
