AI Arms Race is On. Start worrying

To create is to be human. Since 300,000 BC, we have been able to create art, cuisines, manifestos and societies, in addition to our other creations.

We have some company. As you read this sentence, AI programs are painting cosmological portraits, answering emails, preparing taxes, and recording heavy metal songs. They are writing pitch decks and debugging codes, drawing architectural blueprints and giving health advice.

Artificial intelligence is already a part of our everyday lives. AIs are being used to price houses and medicine, assemble automobiles, and determine which ads we see on Facebook. Generative AI is a much more recent category, which can be instructed to produce entirely new content.
