Geoffrey Hinton is a pioneer in artificial intelligence (AI). He was one of the first to start the \”deep learning revolution\” that began over ten years ago.

Hinton, along with other AI luminaries, responded to critics who claimed that deep learning had \”hit a brick wall\” in an interview conducted before the 10-year mark of a key research project on neural networks which led to a major AI advance in 2012.
