OpenAI CEO Sam Altman addressed rumors about GPT-4, the company’s language model that has not yet been released and is the latest in the GPT series that forms the basis of AI chatbot ChatGPT. He said that \”people beg to be disappointed, and they will be.\”
Altman was recently asked by StrictlyVC if GPT-4 would be released in the first half or quarter of the year as many people expect. Altman did not give a specific timeframe in his response. He said that the project would be released at a certain point when they were confident of their ability to do so safely and responsibly.
