How soon can we expect to see robots on the streets? How soon can robots help real people in situations of life and death? How soon will robots be able to replace the health staff? According to the World Health Organization, we’ll be short 12 million health workers worldwide by 2025.

Care robots are capable of a wide range of tasks in a hospital setting. They can assist with lifting patients, delivering lab samples and cleaning. Care robots are expected to be able take over mundane tasks like collecting equipment that nurses spend up to a quarter of their time on.
