Researchers are working to develop robots that can build almost anything.

Different parts are made at different locations when it comes to manufacturing commercial aircraft. The tail, fuselage and wings are all made in different factories before they are finally assembled at a central facility.

Other large structures are also constructed in sections, including aircraft.
