Facebook warns of data breaches: How to avoid them

On Friday, the social media platform reported that it had identified over 400 malicious Android and iOS applications this year that target internet users to steal their login credentials.

Meta Platforms Inc. has revealed that it will notify 1 million Facebook users of the possibility that their account credentials have been compromised as a result of security issues relating to apps downloaded from Alphabet Inc. or Apple Inc.’s software store.
