ChatGPT Takes Control: Microsoft’s Framework Connects AI Language Model to the Real World

Microsoft’s ChatGPT robots allow ChatGPT to reach the real world
Microsoft researchers announced last week an experimental framework for controlling robots and drones by using the language capabilities of ChatGPT. This popular AI language model was created by OpenAI. ChatGPT is able to write code using natural language commands that control robot movement. The results are then viewed by a human who can make adjustments as needed until the task is completed.

Microsoft has released a video showing robots that are apparently controlled by ChatGPT code while following human commands. These robots use a robot arm for arranging blocks into the Microsoft logo or a drone to inspect a shelf’s contents.
