Scientists claim to have developed a way to 3D print inside the human body
The University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia has developed a flexible, tiny robotic arm designed to print 3D material directly onto the surface of an organ inside the body of a person.
The futuristic device is similar to an endoscope, but it can also snake its way inside the body of a patient to deliver biomaterials to repair tissue, heal wounds and make precise incisions. It’s a jack-of all-trades that could revolutionize some types of surgery.
