New HP robotic solution for automated construction layout
HP has announced HP SitePrint, an automated solution that prints complex construction site plans with pinpoint accuracy. The company claims that the robot can complete a layout in \”a fraction\” of the time it takes humans – increasing productivity up to ten times.

The device is a rugged, autonomous robotic device that can operate under the harsh conditions of construction sites. The machine, which uses cloud-based tools and a remote control tablet, can easily outline walls, doorways, and other elements.
HP SitePrint, which is designed for autonomous operation and obstacle avoidance, can increase the productivity of site layout. The printer can print complex objects and lines with high precision and repeatability. Text printing is also available to bring more data from the digital model onto the construction site.
