ETRI and Graphcore Partner on High-Efficiency Software for Large Models
Graphcore and Korea’s Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute have formed a multi-year collaboration to develop new software for high-efficiency AI computing.
The partnership, which will run from 2022 to 2025, and be funded by the Korean Government, will combine ETRI’s world-leading capabilities, as Korea’s largest public institute in terms of R&D and licensing income, with Graphcore, a leader in the development and commercialisation of efficient, high performance compute systems for machine learning.
