This robot can help firefighters work in enclosed spaces

Researchers at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) and Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (UAM) have developed an autonomous ground robot. It could be used to help firefighters in enclosed spaces.

Firefighters would benefit from mobile robots that are trustworthy in performing their dangerous duties. According to Tech Xplore, in order to reduce the accident rate and mission time of intervention teams by 2021, researchers conducted a study titled \”HelpResponder\”.

This method can help firefighters plan their interventions more efficiently by providing safe access to the affected areas and helping them with evacuations.
