Microsoft beats Google’s Q1 performance as AI takes center stage

Microsoft, which for years was second to Google in the market of search engines, is now poised to take over as a technology leader once again. Businesses and individuals around the world are incorporating artificial intelligence (AI), into their daily lives. The 48-year old company outperformed Alphabet in the recent Q1 2023 results.

Microsoft has been a leader in the operating system market for many years. Microsoft has expanded its Xbox platform to include cloud computing, gaming and other technologies.
