Elon Musk hasn’t published a blog post that outlines his position on a particular topic in a long time. Elon Musk’s last blog was published on the official Tesla site on August 24, 2018 when he explained why he decided to keep Tesla as a publicly traded company. Elon Musk’s latest essay in China has been published. It outlines the Tesla CEO’s thoughts on various topics, including sustainability, Neuralink’s focus on the handicapped, and SpaceX’s exploration ambitions.

Elon Musk’s new essay has been published in China Cyberspace 0, a flagship magazine of the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC). Yang Liu is a journalist with the state-owned news service Xinhua 0. She posted a translation of the essay on the Beijing Channel Blog. Musk discussed several topics in depth in Liu’s post.

The publication of Elon Musk’s new essay in CAC magazine, its flagship publication, is important. The Register 0 noted that Musk’s essay indicates that Chinese authorities are in favor of the Tesla CEOs’ positions on the issues he addressed. Few other foreign entrepreneurs are likely to receive the same honor.
