This TechFirst features a chat with Ilke demir, Intel’s research scientist who works on ethical generative AI. She is developing open-source urban driving simulators to help develop, train, and validate autonomous driving systems.

Researchers can also use a privacy-focused generator to combine and match different facial regions. (Nose of person A, Mouth of person B, Eyes of person C etc.). To create a completely new face, which does not exist in any datasets. This allows people to request anonymization of public photos.

Ilke believes that OpenAI and Chat GPT are not generative AI.
