DARPA’s Robotic Autonomy with Resilience in Complex Environments (RACER) has completed a successful experiment. The program is now moving to more challenging off-road terrains at Camp Roberts in California for trials scheduled for September 15-27.

The program’s stated goal is to \”give driverless combat vehicles offroad autonomy while travelling at speeds that keep up with those driven in realistic situations by humans.\”
