Alibaba, the Chinese giant, enters AI race with its bilingual AI model

The AI race is now global.

Alibaba, the Chinese ecommerce and technology giant unveiled Tongyi Qianwen earlier today, a ChatGPT like service. The service is available in both English and Chinese, and will be integrated into a range of Alibaba products – from Slack communication apps to smart speakers.

In recent years, the interest in large language models increased after ChatGPT became a global phenomenon.
