New AI system helps save lives of earthquake victims in Turkey
A system of artificial intelligence called \”xView2\”, which is used to aid in ground rescue efforts, has been deployed by the Turkish government to help areas devastated by earthquakes this month.
The U.S. Department of Defense uses a visual computing artificial-intelligence system to help ongoing disaster response efforts for Turkey and Syria after the devastating earthquake that occurred on February 6, which has claimed tens of thousand of lives.

The AI system called xView2 is still in its early development stage, but has already been used to assist ground rescue missions in Turkey.
