GPT-4 releases are too risky, and should be stopped by AI group to the FTC

On cue, anti-AI / AI ethics clowns are now pushing.gov to criminalize some AI.

A nonprofit AI group is urging the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to investigate OpenAI, Inc., and stop releases of GPT-4.

OpenAI has released GPT-4, a consumer product that is deceptive and biased. It also poses a threat to public safety and privacy. The outputs are not reproducible or able to be verified. The Center for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Policy submitted a complaint today to the FTC.

CAIDP called for \”independent evaluation and oversight of commercial AI products available in the United States.\” It asked the FTC \”to open an investigation into OpenAI and enjoin any further commercial releases GPT-4 and ensure that necessary guardrails are established to protect consumers and businesses, as well as the commercial market.\”
