AI Shakespeare and AI Oscar Wilde debate Machine Creativity in Oxford

It’s not Shakespeare, who was hundreds of years in advance of his time defending the superiority of humans over artificial intelligence.

It is almost as outlandish: an AI system that has been trained to express themselves like the bard. By ingesting Shakespeare’s plays, the AI learned his style and perspective. It then educated itself on AI creativity using iambic pentameter.

Shakespeare was part of an AI version of a classic writer and literary character that took place in a University of Oxford Union debate.
