Artificial Intelligence has a profound impact on our daily lives. AI’s influence is likely to increase in the near future. The military is one of the many fields that AI has heavily influenced. In particular, in the development and deployment of Supersoldiers. Super-soldiers augmented with biotechnology or cybernetics were once a science fiction concept. It may not take long for these concepts to become reality.
In a new global arms race, countries are competing to be the first ones to create genetically modified super soldiers using tools like CRISPR. Many of these technologies for human enhancement raise serious health and safety concerns. It is likely that these enhancements would first be adopted in countries where ethical concerns are not as important.

Basic brain-machine AI interfaces are being developed by the military. If the results are as good as scientists expect, soldiers may one day benefit from cybernetics and become transhuman soldiers.
US Military also examines newly scientific tools like brain chemistry, shrinking robots, genetic engineering and other new technologies for more dramatic improvements. Most of this advanced tech is classified.
