Robot lawyer creator in suit: \”We’re going fight\”
(NewsNation), The world’s \”robot attorney\” faces a new challenge: a lawsuit filed by the Chicago-based Edelson PC law firm.
The lawsuit is centered around Joshua Browder’s \”DoNotPay.\” The app claims to use artificial intelligence, and can \”fight corporations and beat bureaucracy at the push of a button.\”
Browder claims that he will fight this time in court. Edelson claimed that \”DoNotPay\” was \”not a robot or a law office, but rather an app\” in a proposed class-action lawsuit. They also said their client Jonathan Faridian had used the application, and received \”substandard results\”.
